Too bad I wasn't trying to cause problems I just honestly wanted to see how the pnm liked each party. So calm down.

No it's just because they're not top tier, which is fine. They're a good house but aren't up there at the top.

its a new row old row thing and just some "traditional" assumptions that place many of the "top tier" where they are. What is changing is pnms are starting more to think for themselves.

This is why we also see aphi, gphi, pi phi trending up and chi o, Agd, pm trending down.

People do take old and new row too seriously, but that's not the only reason ZTA isn't top tier. Without a doubt they have some very pretty girls, but being a good house is more than just looks. Zeta has repeatedly had bad grades and aren't known for being very philanthropic. Top tier houses have to encompass more than just looks.

Keep in mind all things on here are personal opinions and different pnms value different things. The "tier" stuff that you see around is more a mom and alum thing than what is happening on campus. As you can see from some responses on here, some people think personality and sisterhood drive how a house should be ranked. Others focus on charity or grades. Others on popularity with certain frats. It is all so personal so please pnms don't look for validation of any sort by looking on this page. That is how mistakes get made.

Yes. If they were old row and had better grades they would beat a lot of "top" houses.

Zeta tries to promote itself as a brand and not everyone buys into that. Their nationals interfere WAY too much.

it has a lot more to do with the old row / new row label. while ZTA is "popular" they don't have much going for them more than looks and having a good time. They care far too much about how someone looks, and even within their own sisterhood.. girls are catty and feel like they have to compete with one another on who is prettiest, that type of thing. they are also not well liked by other sororities because they can be awfully mean and stuck up when it comes to other girls, because they do think highly of themselves.

Really wanted to like Chi O better, but they were so crowded. No one approached us and we wandered around alone for at least 20 minutes. Very uncomfortable. ADPi was also much more structured than the other houses, I liked the more casual feel elsewhere. Really liked all the others.

I agree with a lot of what's been posted. The best convos I had were at AXO, Phi Mu, and ZTA. Felt like I was talking to friends and that I could see myself being part of their sisterhoods. But I really enjoyed all the houses honestly. Thanks for such a great weekend :)

happy to see GPB made a good impression on pnms. Either that, or they are self-ranking like heck. Let's hope it is the former. If so, it would be well earned. They are working hard either way.

They had a very nice house, nice girls and their party had a very chill vibe. I'm also willing to bet other PNMs felt the same way as I did.

You rank yourselves so why can't we? Truth hurts sometimes. These spring party ranks are by pnm who have no affiliation yet and have not been told what to say or how they should rank. So I think it's a good idea. I just decided to come to bama so I didn't do the recruitment form and didn't come. I heard about the parties so I think pnms should rank you. You are already pi##ed bc your party wasn't good and you do t want pnms to hear about it.
