I feel good about the number of teas I went to. Many I clicked with a lot of girls there. Only one house that was different than the others. My bf actually felt like she was being interview by 1 girl and was never introduced to anyone else in the house. It was high on her list but now I don't know.. How do I get the other houses to. Actual recruitment IS a lot different. More rushed, more confusing.
I would imagine your BF got a girl who was a freshman and didn't know what to do.
Don't worry about it - and don't worry about "getting noticed" by the sororities. Get your recs going, make sure your grades are a good as you can get them, have some good pictures made for your rec, assembly a classy/cute recruitment wardrobe.
But most of all, PRACTICE TALKING to people, especially people you don't know. Come up with some questions to get a conversation going - what's the last movie you saw, who's the best professor you've had, anything that will NOT get a yes or no answer.
Relax...treat that person as if they're the most interesting person in the world and focus on them.
