spring parties
by: PNMI know a lot of people have posted about the spring parties this weekend. I will be going and I am super excited! I am confused on what to wear. A casual swing dress? A little more fancy dress? A Lilly P dress? Wedges or sandles? My friends and I will be going together since we are from a different state. Do you recommend us to split up or go to the houses together? Which houses can you go to without an invite?

Casual spring dress is perfect! I would stay away from Lilly, it's not a big thing down here. There's no reason to wear anything too fancy, a lot of actives will even be in jeans. Either wedges or sandals work, I prefer wedges but whatever looks better with your dress. I think that going in to houses together would be fine! But you may not stay together. You'll be talking to different actives and will probably be split up. No house is going to turn you away, but I wouldn't show up to any old row house uninvited

good feedback above but I would not show up to any house uninvited, old row or new row, unless they have clearly indicated that it is an open event. an invite that does not have an rsvp does not mean it is an open event.

Not sure what house you're in, but actives at my house will not be in jeans. Wear a dress and yes if you have a pretty Lilly wear it or just a spring dress.

Chi O sent out invites. If a pnm does not get one, I would treat that as not being invited and focus elsewhere.

spot on advice above by "Me" but don't be walking up in a group of like five or eight or whatever. show some ability to stand on your own. I would advise against walking in with a group of four or more. ideally, just walk up with one or two of your friends.
