Do the UA sororities take a girl's letter of recommendation into consideration in the biding process. And does it matter how old or young the recommender is or what chapter they were associated with?

If the writer is a collegiate member at another college, it won't get quite as much credit as an alumnae-written rec.
If the writer is a national officer of the sorority, it will get the highest rating.
If the writer is an alumnae member of the Alabama chapter, it will get a slightly higher rating.
If the writer is a newly-graduated alumna, it will get a slightly lower rating.
If the writer is an older alumna (meaning older than, say, 30), it will get a slightly higher rating.

Main thing is - get recs, preferably alumnae recs. And preferably somebody who knows you or your family.
