Sigma Delta Tau - ΣΔΤ Sorority Ratings at UA

They are not as popular as some of the big sororities on campus but they are an amazing group of fun, friendly, and diverse girls. Don’t overlook them just because they don’t do formal rush. They’re an amazing example of what sisterhood really is, and they have a good history.

Not as involved as they could be. SDT gets kinda overlooked but most of it is on them cuz they need to put themselves out there more. I personally really like them and have had good experiences with them — so I’m NOT saying this to be mean! Rather I think SDT is great and they could be even better if they put themself out there more. Not saying

I’m apart of another sorority at Bama and all the girls I have meet from this sorority have been sweet and accepting. It seems like an amazing sorority to join if you want a smaller sisterhood where you can know everyone.

Great times and friends! Memories that will last a lifetime! So happy to be a part of this great sorority!

This group has impressed me so much with their diversity and acceptance of all! They open support lgbtq+ and I am hoping they grow! What a wonderful organization!

The sisterhood is very tight knit as there is not alot of them. the pledge classes keep getting bigger which is a plus! They have diversity compared to the other sororities at bama and thats what makes them stand out. You don't need a big mansion, this is about sisterhood and community outreach. a house doesn’t matter as much as long as you’re making an impact ! If thats all that matters to you, you’re not in greek life for the right reasons & i wouldnt want to call you a sister. I can’t wait to see and hear more about SDT in the years to come and hope they continue to grow 🤍

I am not in SDT but I do appreciate what it offers its members. However, I really question the future of their chapter. It appears that this sorority's numbers have taken a serious hit and this is something that is really hard to come back from. If I were a PNM there is no way I would choose this house. If you're considering it just remember that if there is not enough interest their nationals will close or suspend the chapter and that is not something anyone wants during active years or after. I really feel for these girls but I don't see them staying on campus for much longer. Best of luck, SDT!

i do not go to alabama but i found this chapter through #rushtok. i’m glad that i found a chapter at UA that looks like there is normal people in it. i love how sdt actually has DIVERSITY! no basic wasps! sdt girlies, please use diversity to your advantage because that’s what you have compared to other sororities at alabama. the only things that you need to improve are your instagram game. find a cohesive instagram theme with bright colors and maybe ask some nice panhel sisters for advice on editting pics! try to be active on social media like ig reels, vsco, make tik toks. good social media=more pnms i hope that you recruit more girls to help your chapter improve! i see a lot of potential in you ladies of sdt! :)

Regretted joining this sorority. Wish I could go back and just do normal rush. Some girls were nice, but most were catty, rude, and not at all considerate of the other sisters. If you’re really looking for a sisterhood, I would look elsewhere, because all the chapter ever did was tear me down instead of support me.
