Sigma Delta Tau - ΣΔΤ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 2.0 There are plenty of genuine and kind girls in this sorority. However, there are a multitude of internal issues tearing the sisterhood apart. Cattiness, drama and just overall not being very kind to each other. Although the majority of girls are not this way; the sorority itself is small so the handful of bad apples do have a large impact. If you do not fit into a clique there, you will simply feel out of place. It seems that the focus is all on new membership and not on ensuring the current membership is happy. Quantity over quality. If the sorority is able to successfully grow, these issues may go away, as these are issues common with smaller sisterhoods. However, it will take a lot of determination and work for these girls to overcome these issues, wishing them future success!

Sigma Delta Tau - ΣΔΤ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 3.5 The sisterhood has come a long way from where it used to be. It makes me proud to see that the sisterhood has grown and we are becoming more known around campus. In every sorority you will have those who are mean just to be mean but for the most part those are the minority. This sisterhood has always been accepting of every type of woman no matter her background. Also, when you put more than a few girls together there will of course be drama but that is life. I can't wait to see how far SDT will go in the next decade.

Are we sure you’re mentally sound? I saw the post on the discussion wall and wanted to check this page. What’s truly concerning is that someone is so dedicated to bashing these girls for no reason... get a life? You clearly have no respect for greek life or these women if you’d say you’d call the hazing hotline for something you know is false. Be wary of karma.

I agree with the person defending this sorority. Someone called them out claiming they were lying so they got heated. I don't think any organization where girls find joy should be bashed. If the person posting had a bad experience that sucks, but I think it’s sad they would want the organization to suffer by calling them mean or whatever.

Sigma Delta Tau - ΣΔΤ Sorority at University of Alabama Tuscaloosa - UA 4.4 So I have had a couple of these girls sprinkled in my classes and even had one in my physics group. They all seen so genuine and I truly think this is one of the best houses on campus. They are so accepting of all women. I genuinely believe anyone calling these girls “mean girls” has never encountered a real mean girl in their life.
