this is one of the top sororities on campus and gets so much controversy when it shouldn’t, girls are much nicer and prettier than people give credit for.. genuinely love these girls

KD is at the very top of the top tier. Pretty, classy, rich, sweet, fun girls. Only downside is it can be tough to get a bid if you aren’t coming here with a lot of connections, because they know a lot of the tops from Alabama and the South.

Many will underestimate them as they are highly selective and very Southern group. But in actuality half the chapter is from out of state, just mostly Southern states. Def OLD ROW personified. Keep their traditions.

Top 5 chapter at Bama and very well respected as well as the oldest sorority on campus. More of a focus on local and southern pnms is their way. Great house contributing in a positive way to the community and campus. They are social and have a lot of spirit.

my friend preffed phi mu & kd and chose kd. since she wasn’t from Alabama she was worried she wouldn’t be included but she has always felt loved and supported here.. people will tell you that if you didn’t go to high school with these girls they will never be friends with you. Absolutely not true. They are low key one of the better sisterhoods at ua and such a great house who care for each other and cares for this campus. You will be proud to wear these letters

KD has done a great job of becoming more inclusive and diverse, does well academically on the Univ grade report and they are favorites with the top Alabama girls as well as girls that are OOS. They are pretty and popular but also care about each other and have strong national support and programs! They’re one of the strongest at ua!

They say if you’re not from Alabama you won’t get in to KD here, but they have done a pretty good job of being inclusive of OOS and different backgrounds in recent years. They are still extremely Southern and this can be a tough bid to get. KDs are pretty and popular and if they love you you’re a lucky girl.
