Sigma Chis wanted to be Sigma Chis. The only fraternity that takes old row rejects on a regular basis is an old row house, Phi Delts.

Honest ranking. They are located on "New Row", and thier house is not that good. It's mostly the people who just missed the cut to get in one of the "Old Row" fraternities.

As a member of another fraternity at Alabama I've been around these guys a lot and there isn't anything bad to say. By the way no one cares if your old row people, and paying extra money to be "old row" does not make you a better group of guys or girls, it simply means you or your parents are willing to pay for it. There's a lot of good fraternities at the University of Alabama, old row or not. It's all about the brotherhood and girls of course, whether you go old row or not.

Ima be honest, Sigma Chi at Alabama is mediocre. They are comparable to pike or delta chi. They will never be like SAE or DKE though who have great houses and alumni.

Always been a good group of guys. I know their charitable contributions have raised the bar as of late. Who really cares about old row and new row. I had two old row bids and one new row. I went with new row because I liked them the best.
