what are C4 mids?

don’t wanna rush a top house bc of the amount of severe hazing , but also don’t want greek life to consume my college life. friend of mine mentioned C4 mid frats Pike/Pikapp/Phi Tau/PSK, can someone describe them and their differences?

There’s been posts on this but basically:

Pike: work hard, play hard
Pikapp: lot of parties, bad brotherhood
Phi Tau: stoners, good brotherhood
PSK: hosts the other 3 frequently

“C4 mid” is kinda not true anymore, as Pike Pikapp and Phi Tau are closer to Lambda than PSK (both due to Lambda’s drop off and PSK being in trouble)

Sort of: new c4 mids (no particular order)

Lambda: Chill, sopro
Pike: nerdy, tons of brothers
Pikap: 5’6, think they’re 6’7
Phi tau: stoners

Kinda outdated term. Lambda has been struggling with sopro for a while and PSK has fallen off the map which means the old “c4 mids” aren’t continuous anymore

The mids are on a bit of a shaky foundation these days: sopro, so-so physical houses, de-activations, more frats coming back to campus every year and more in the pipeline.
