Thoughts on Fiji?
by: RusheeI know they’re new and don’t even mix but what is the likelihood they go back to the way they were? Don’t be whack I don’t really care about ranks but don’t want to be part of an organisation that will fail or fall apart

They’re prob not getting their house back until Fall 2023, and at that point is when we’ll really see whether they’ll be successful or not. The guys they’ve been bidding aren’t really top house material (think rejects from lower/lower mid houses) so in terms of sorority relations they might not do well at first, and they’ll likely re-enter the scene as a bottom ranking house. The two obvious examples for recolonization recently have been Chi Psi (which clearly went well enough) and DKE (which clearly didn’t, awesome physical house but a bunch of goobers). My guess is there’s probably going to be a lot more DKEs than Chi Psis, it seems like something that rarely goes well. If you’re joining now, the house probably won’t be successful or even feel like a house (if it doesn’t fall apart) until maybe 2024/2025, so if you’re willing to make that sacrifice go ahead but I’m not sure it’s worth it.
