is it better to join a bottom sorority or not be in 1
by: unaffiliated girl
i’m a sophomore who missed formal recruitment and my only option right now is to COB tridelt, AXO and PSS.
sisterhood is important to me & i personally don’t care that they’re “bottom tier,” but i am worried about if it’ll change the way people in greek life view me.
i have personal connections to guys in all the frats i care about, so my social life is in a good place. i don’t really need a sorority to get me into frats. what i want to know is if joining a “bottom” sorority will harm my social life, because ddd axo and pss don’t seem to mix with the frats i usually go to. will girls in higher sororities judge me? will guys in greek life look at me differently as a member of a “bottom sorority” than as an unaffiliated girl?

If I were u, I'd try to cob and actually meet the people in those houses. If they offer u a bid u can basically go to events and meet the girls that would be ur pc and see if it's for you before u sign the bid. Plenty of people are happy in bottom houses and have friends/date people in top frats. Plenty of people also just have a decent social circle and have fun without joining Greek life. Main point is, talk to people in real life because u won't get a real perspective on this site.

this is facts. no one will admit it but everyone in greek life is at least subconsciously aware of their house’s social status
