How much do extracurriculars matter to sororities?

Only really matters if you know someone from extracurriculars that could help get you in.
Or unless you did something really really cool and big within the club that’ll help you stand out.
You’ll talk about the stuff you’re involved in on campus during rush but it’s more to get the conversation going as a ice breaker I feel like.
If you’re worried about not having enough you’ll be fine. They’re worried more about personality and fit.

Extracurriculars actually matter more than I thought as a freshman (and not just bc of connections). Srats are curious to see what you do with your time. If you're involved with other things on campus that automatically demonstrates a benchmark of your commitment and they're more likely to evaluate u as a strong candidate because there's a higher chance u will be involved in the house/want to make a positive impact

let me qualify by saying that it's not the end of the world if you don't have college ECs yet as a freshman, you can talk about HS ECs but def be able to mention some kind of commitment if you're asked
