This is just sad. Look we're not a top school, but who cares. Like someone else commented, we're top in the grand scheme of the thousands of college/universities out there and that should be good enough for our egos.

if you are going to compare yourself to the mediocre then what's the point? .... at the top, the differences in influence, reputation and ability exponentially increase
