all the other Ivies have an intellectual subculture and a lot of just highly gifted students. Cornell has this but at a much smaller scale since they are stolen away during admissions process by schools like MIT or Columbia. The dominant culture at Cornell is similar to UNC or Michigan or Vandy…. It falls short of the elite Ivy experience granted to HYPSM, Columbia, Penn and Brown…. Dartmouth also is different from the other Ivies, it’s more like a glorified Amherst college up there
