Weakest student body among good schools

by: damn wow

Only 83.7% of the class of '24 graduated in the top 10% of their high school class. This is straight off the self reported class profile. This is weak even when compared to UVA which is nearly 90% and far behind its other Ivy+ peers like Harvard (95%), Yale (96%), Stanford (93%), Penn (94%), Brown (96%), Dartmouth (94%) and Princeton (97%). Cornell is even behind Williams College (92%) and tied with Middlebury College (84%).... a large portion of your peers didnt even graduate high school in the top decile of their class... can't expect much from a student body like that... im guessing engineering and architecture majors probably are the only exception to the lack of elite talent at Cornell

worst of the best. its common knowledge. most lump cornell with the top UCs, Emory, Vandy (which is actually still realy good) and for some programs like ILR and HumEc, its lumped with BC, UNC, Northeastern, etc

We have been dropping since 2014. Anything positive up until now has been the cleanup crew. It's only downhill from here.
