Cornell is not an elite school?

I keep hearing that Cornell is a fake Ivy or that more than half the kids here are the "Worst of the best"... in my experience, this is all true and Cornell only has its Ivy League and Engineering powerhouse status carrying it at this point

worst of the best isn't an insult to us... its still good to know we are among the best, but heck nowhere are we (as a whole) close to the best of the best
