Future of Cornell Greek life
by: Down BadIf next Fall/Spring doesn’t see a large increase in amount of kids (specifically guys) rushing and taking bids, Greek life here could deteriorate faster than we anticipated previously. Hopefully, the school opens up in the fall, big parties and O week can happen, and freshmen will be more inclined to join. But if that doesn’t happen, we may disappear sooner than expected.

Cornell's Greek life is in deep trouble. Societal attacks and administrative reform and endangering the system. IT also doesn't help that our community is not united at all and we have no relation with the admin. Going forward we need to either change the image around Greek life or continue to contract. Personally, I would rather see my chapter die than become coed sellouts (no offense AZ).

Hate to say it, but the top and upper houses aren’t the ones really at risk of going under. They still got enough guys to stay afloat financially and aren’t going to bid a bunch of squids just to have a few thousand more dollars.
