I'm worried about not getting a bid during c.o.b

I made a post about how the frats I liked cut me, and all of them are on the C.O.B list. I know engineering and stuff is sorta distant from frat life, but I really want to join a fraternity and im scared that none of the frats I like will bid me this week. What can be done to get a bid during c.o.b. I'm gonna rush the lowers/upper mids

If Phi Tau didn't bid you, I don't see that going too well. Especially considering that these frats already have lists of people they want to see during COB who they met during normal rush (who they didn't talk enough to)

Give some other houses a shot. You won't mix as much, but you can still have fun and importantly you won't be a geed.

@Gray . Phi Delt would a good starting place. Huge castle and good mixing for their tier. Zeta Psi is another choice if you essentially want immediate leadership (they had like 15 bros not too long ago, but apparently took a big pc this cycle). Beta is another good option if you’re not huge into parties, they also have a really nice physical house. I’d avoid DTD or AEPi unless if you wanna be in a PC of 2.

Not the OP but any mids? I don't think I'd fit in with lowers just cause I'm in Hotel and all the ppl I know are kinda in mid upper houses

Why do people feel like that since they are in engineering they have to settle for a mid or lower. Pretty sure Sig Chi, AD, Sig Pi, Chi Psi all have multiple engineers

major itself doesn't matter at all. but you gotta acknowledge the typical person in engineering is pretty different than, for example, the typical person in ILR/Hotel/AEM.
