Thinking of KSig for COB
by: FroshI’m thinking of rushing kappa Sig for COB, what’s the vibe there?

From their obvious activity on Greekrank lately, it seems they were unable to bring around PNMs/ even get much of a pc during normal rush and are relying heavily on COB to compensate for that (a large portion of their spring 2021 pc will come from COB if they’re lucky). I assume you’re just a kappa sig guy trying have an in on promoting kappa sig COB on Greekrank

Nah I’m not even in Kappa Sig but even I know that Zoom rush def helped them rather than hurt them. Just think about it. Especially with Fiji gone

KSig on the decline. Their house is already empty and the pcs that kept them even close to relevant either graduated last year or are about to graduate smh

Absolute cap. Their senior class has like 5 dudes and is the weakest. They’re definitely on the rise and this is coming from a guy in an upper mid. They also now have a better annex than the one DX has

if one of the c4 mids does cob, you could always just text the rush chair if its cool you come around again (could be you got cut just because not enough brothers felt they got to know you enough).

yessss, to echo that comment-- if houses saw you only in zoom for a short time, they can't warrant giving you a bid-- cutting you in this sense doesn't mean they aren't interested in you, just try again for COB if you think you didn't get to talk to enough brothers irl

Idk they're nice and all, just not as well structured or organized, have a dusty physical house, and don't mix will. It's also weird how much they post on greekrank

Ksig is pretty well run now, had a good fall pc, and is only losing 5 seniors so they're retaining the majority of their brotherhood

From what Ik, it seems like they kinda have a mix of both chill and rowdy vibes. So if you’re looking to have a traditional frat experience then you should be able to find it there

Only losing 5 seniors this semester and have a strong nationals to help them out, prob gonna rise up soon but we'll have to see

Look at some other houses right below the C4 mids. Sammy has had better days but is still a solid house with good relations. DKE is on the rise and looks like it’s going to be getting a solid class. AGR has always been a solid house and looks like it’s going to get a good class this spring. KSig is kind of a joke since they lost their annex that was keeping them afloat, but they do throw down sometimes.

Naturally, anything below C4 mid is not gonna be perfect. That being said, go check out a bunch of the lower mids during COB and see if you actually vibe with the brothers. That’s the most important aspect anyways. Sammy and Kappa Sig are realistically prob the best after the C4 mids but eh at that this point the rankings don’t matter as much

Ya I heard the ksig brotherhood is solid. I was just wondering what their social aspect is like? What srat relations, do they get invited to multiways and stuff like that, etc

I think they mix with Phi Sig mostly. Occasionally with KD. And I don’t really know if they have multiways

Kappa Sig is lower mid and yes they are a good option for someone who got cut from the C4 mids
