In-Person Events?
by: FroshAre houses still going to be having in person events and night events when rush actually starts? It looks like the university is really cracking down on that stuff...

@pledgemaster I think you said in another post that no frat mid and above is gonna give a bid to someone they didn't meet in person. So how is anyone supposed to get bids if there aren't many night events?

That was before people were stupid and decided to throw parties before rush. Greeklife basically has Martha holding a knife to its carotid artery and any movement will kill the frat responsible. For the first week or so of rush don't be surprised if even top frats keep it virutal. Maybe after first week, see things change.

If I met a few guys at an upper/UpperMid before going into rush but wasn’t like heavily dirty rushed fall semester, how much does that help going into the process? At least considering that now most events will be virtual?

exactly how I got into my frat (upper/upper mid). Did not get formally invited to dirty rush events, but got close to a couple bros through an activity and they pulled me through. However, on the other side it really does not happen that often, maybe like 1/10 kids who know bros and were not dirty rushed. Rush the C4 Mids as backup but give it a shot.
