Pike vs. PiKapp?
by: froshI've been seeing on this site that pike and pikapp have similar vibes. I'm personally looking to join a traditionally fratty/rowdy house so I'm looking at those two for rush. What are the differences between the two in terms of brotherhood, vibes, and srat relations?

yeah I mean that is known that Pi Kapp is a much closer brotherhood, but that is rather due to Pike bidding for quantity and taking guys who don't fit to beef up their pledge class. Phi Tau for instance amongst the C4 mids does not haze at all and is known to be one of the closest brohoods in greeklife and probably the best in the mid tier in terms of closeness. Just a message to rushes that don't assume high hazing is automatically going to a lead to a tighter brohood. SX/DU haze harder than Sig Phi but Sig Phi has in my opinion a much better brohood.

AD hazes like crazy and their brotherhood might be the closest on campus (still hated by the rest of campus haha)

^^^not saying that not hazing/hazing means a closer brohood, in simple terms, just look at the brohood itself and do not judge a house on how hard they haze when you rush.

would just like to add though that hazing or not hazing is not necessarily a prerequisite/requirement for a strong brotherhood.
