How hard is it to get a bid at a nice frat

Title. I'm a transfer, who's at home in Chicago this term.
Wanted to see how difficult it is to get a bid at like FIJI or Sigma Pi.

Well Fiji will be impossible because they’re kicked off campus. Sig Pi will also be impossible bc they won’t meet u in person. If you’re at home this semester I’m sorry but I don’t think you’ll get bids to any Mid or above frats, they’ll all want to meet you in person before extending a bid regardless of what the school says about rush.

Honestly, even though Cornell rules say you should be treated equally in rush even if you’re remote, you realistically have no chance to getting a bid at any house mid tier or above. They’ll want to meet you in person at unregistered events and you wont be able to pledge this semester anyway.

^ That's a really interesting combination of houses you want to rush lmfao
And you're forgetting that there will still be in-person invite-only events for serious-rushes (as well as secret night-events). If you plan on doing stuff 100% virtual, expect to only get bids at irrelevant houses.
