hello i am in a srat and this is not true at all lol... there are wealthy girls in every house and girls on financial aid in every house as well. what does matter during recruitment is how you present yourself (your style, your demeanor etc.) which may be affiliated with family income (but not necessarily). once you are in, as long as you are able to pay the dues, and around $50 to spend on merch per year, you will not 'miss out' on many activities. the price range for unofficial trips together during breaks etc has a huge range, but those are planned personally by different friend groups within an organization. please do not keep this in mind when choosing between houses.
