What can CUPD do that Ithaca PD can’t? We pay for the CUPD. They haven’t used a gun in 40 years. They sometimes investigate stolen computers?

The point of armed police is to deter people from committing crimes and resisting arrests. Considering Ithaca is already a dangerous town, it's only natural to conclude that crime will increase with reduced law enforcement.

Nobody is gonna stab you. dramatic. If someone wanted to hurt you, it doesn't matter if CUPD had weapons or not. Y'all are some weirdos
