srats cross-rush a ton. in the same tier all the srats are losing rushes to each other, but thats just kinda the way it goes. It's not as personal I think when a srat loses a rush to another house than in a frat because you don't always know what other houses a girl has left

^ are you an idiot? DX and PhiTau are neighbors, so its funny to say that PhiTau's the better house "on the knoll." PhiTau is a decent house, but no one actually believes they're above DX (uppermid or arguably upper).
