as in; what’s the level of wealth that’s acceptable for the best sororities/frats that care about money?

There's no "wealth cutoff"- we're talking about fraternities and sororities not a metropolitan dining club lmfao. At the end of the day, people are here to be part of Greeklife, not just hang out with other rich people.

It's just that the "wealthier" houses have certain vibes/lifestyles that are indicative of privilege (like getting an Apartment in The Lux) so the people who fit in usually are the rich kids who come from preparatory schools from Manhattan/Westchester/Long Island, Greenwich/Fairfeild, D.C., or Silicon Valley.

honestly it is about appearances. no one is telling a sister while rushing how many properties their parents own BUT they are wearing a ton of designer clothes and items that say they do.
