fake rich, are there any really rich ppl here

You guys always talk about how rich certain frats and sororities are but i havent really seen anything over a couple mil (or tens possibly.) None of this extreme wealth like hundreds of mills/bills.

I know this is a troll post, but yea- there are kids whose parents are worth hundreds of millions or sometimes even billions (parents and or grandparents are famous hedgefund managers) at Cornell and in some of these top houses.

Also, not to be elitist but a couple million to tens of millions isn't THAT unique at Cornell considering all the elite-boarding school kids, the top nyc-prep school kids, and the fact that like a third of the school is from Greenwich or Westchester and Long Island.

also to add, when we call a house "rich"- we're talking about the fact that basically the entirety of a fraternity or sorority comes from privilege.
You're not going to find a single frat/srat or large college-organization in America where every member is from "ultra-wealth" (even in the finals clubs at Harvard).

yes that’s what i meant. Everyone here is worth mills/tens of mills and was asking why people in the “rich houses” aren’t worth more than that.

Two years ago there was a girl in sdt who's dad was worth $1 billion. There's some Cali and Hong Kong kids floating around too who's parents are $100 millionaires and own architecture firms and hotel chains.

it's also usually the nyc kids who are really "old-money" rich though they're really lowkey about it- know some kids whose dads are top directors and partners at the top wall street firms.

not in a rich house, but I know the some of the kids in AD come from families that definitely have way more than just a hundred million- one kid's dad is literally one of the most wealthy men in all of Europe.

yeah theres a bunch in all the houses, but more concentrated in top houses
theres some super rich international students that dont even join greek life
