Are any houses open to considering new (sophomore) members over summer before fall cob? Can I/should I contact them now?

I thought they weren’t allowed to consider them until COB numbers are calculated in the fall?? I could very likely be wrong.....

I heard that national said we’re supposed to use last falls number 4 fall cob this year so around 119?

Tbh I think you could easily get cobed into a middle tier house. With no events happening rly, their members are dropping like flies

the only 2 core 4 houses considering cob are aphi and theta (dg and kappa haven’t done cob in 6+ years). otherwise, SDT, tridelt, pi phi, kd, aephi, axo, pss and pm usually do cob. maybe azd too. I’d reach out now

SDT and pi phi has never done cob (at least in recent years) so highly unlikely...

Yeah, but I’m pretty sure some houses informally add girls during fall cob and some do it formally - kinda like in spring?
I’d wait a few weeks to reach out.

Houses are most definitely not allowed to recruit over the summer. Chapter totals needs to be reset when classes start before it's decided if chapters can do COB, but based on spring numbers it seems that kappa and dg can't do COB but phi mu will

Does anyone know of specific houses which have really had girls dropping like flies? I might just stay home for fall if there’s not going to be any decent social life.
