Is core 4 still a thing?

Is “core 4” still a thing? I’ve read some stuff online but my friend who goes here says it’s not a big deal

core 4 = first 4 sororities that had chapters at cornell. it’s a historical thing, that’s all

Why they are the oldest 4 they are also the hottest 4. Nobody calls them core 4 because they're thinking about them historically.

Core 4 is real, dg, theta, aphi, kappa have the strongest and pretty much the same mixing schedules, and they’re generally the houses girls aim for

As said above, defffinitely does not mean those are the only houses worth joining

Saying core 4 is because they’re the first 4 is like saying the Ivy League is just an athletic conference. It’s just false and naive. Core 4 is the top tier houses that pretty much everyone wants to join, like it or not
