Greeklife is overrated
by: hito those of you who might feel pressured to join Greek life, I just want to put this out there but not being in greek life is amazing! I can come to whatever parties I want to because you just need to know someone in a house which isn’t difficult once your friends join Greek life, and I don’t have to worry about dealing with all the fake socially climby people! so much about Greek life seems fake, and I can associate with whoever I want to when I’m not forced into a house full of people I might not even like. Anyways, Greek life isn’t even relevant by the beginning of junior year. If you’re already social, you are perfectly fine not joining Greek life and will have a great time at Cornell! Can’t say that I’m not entertained by how fake Greekrank is tho lol like get over yourselves

nah I’m a guy and I have no problems. If you have friends and are very social then there shouldn’t be any issues. But some people need the extra support of Greek life for a social life

Looking at Greekrank as a geed is entertaining and greeklife is not the end be all. Lots of people I know in greeklife are in it for the label of being in greeklife and the clout but don’t actually like it. There’s lots of fake people (but not all are fake) and I’ve had no problem getting into parties as a geed it’s not that hard because I know people in greeklife. Also every sorority/fraternity has cliques so most people I know only make a couple genuine friends out of greeklife
