greek life is systemically heteronormative but being lgbt within the community isnt a big deal (as far as i've observed). ive never heard of anybody do anything homophobic/discriminate against lgbt. granted the school itself is mostly socially progressive

in my experience, i have never been made to feel uncomfortable or unaccepted, however there is not really any queer "scene" within greek life bc it is structurally incredibly heteronormative. so, yes and no.

There is a strong queer community at Cornell and though greeklife and Qc aren’t mutually exclusive they don’t tend to overlap. Sororities will tend to favor femme women which can be uncomfortable..
