If coordinated GreekRank grinding sessions and sweaty parties with freshmen and AXO are your thing, you’ll love Phi Tau. Just please don’t beg to get into the parties at other places you rushed when you realize what a mistake you’ve made by joining.

every positive review here is straight up untrue. Phi Tau is an okay house at best but there are just so many other options. plus who wants to join a house that grinds greek rank like this?

mid tier house that is on the rise the fastest rn. have been throwing big parties almost every weekend, and also ran a big part of the homecoming block party, but still have good cred for being a safe house. very down to earth brothers, solid mid tier sorority relations but definitely has at least some girls from every upper sorority at their parties.

Everyone knows that Phi Tau is the top of mid tier. They mix with all the middle tier sororities and occasionally upper tier sororities like AZD. All around great guys and a great fraternity.

Probably the most underrated middle tier fraternity. Sure, DX is their neighbor and has a cool crib, but they've been getting closer recently and Phi Tau's been throwing better darties, since they also have a pretty nice property themselves.

These guys know how to party. Frankly they party harder and throw better parties than any other mid tier house. Mix with all of the mid sororities and occasionally an upper tier like SDT or AZD. Well respected fraternity in and out of greek life.

In the space of 14 minutes this evening, the reviewer below left similar Bottom/1.0 rating for a total of seven houses. Those seven houses together have over 200 brothers. This is so dumb. GR isn't a good thing for the system.

probably one of the houses that lies on GR the most, to hide the gap opening between them and Pike/Pikapp. Chill enough dudes irl but clearly have an inferiority complex

The reviews both for and against are ridiculous, both for and against. Clearly someone is trying to slander phi tau so they can beat them for spring rush, but some of the positive reviews are so absurd they're obviously made by people trying to frame (happens on pretty much every frat's page). As somebody who's been to a lot of fraternities, these aren't crazy partier frat guys, but they're chill good conversationalist people. They def have a big multi-way every week or 2 but that does not mean phi tau "mixes C4" or "parties the most on campus." I'm giving them a good review because they're great guys, well respected by mid and lower sororities, and are known for being relaxed, having good events without creepy people like other frat parties that don't vet their dudes, and being a prime example of a MIDDLE tier frat. Def not upper, def not lower, both being claims by reviewers below. If you went to sig chi there would be a clear difference, but if you went to DTD or DKE there would also be a clear difference. Don't join this frat if you're a super preppy/fratty dude, but also don't if you're looking for a more under-the-radar nerdier frat
