Pref Day! Congrats PNMs!

Rush is almost over! At this point, most PNMs are down to one or two houses after a long week of meeting so many amazing girls and chapters.

Hopefully you are excited about your pref houses, stay open-minded about both. Whether you receive a bid from your first or second choice, know that the chapter wanted you and saw something in you that would add to its sisterhood. You can have an amazing experience at either house.

This board likes to make it seem as though certain sororities offer completely different experiences, but they really don’t. They all have sisterhood events, socials, date nights, semi-formals, formals and so many other opportunities to make friends and have fun.

If your options are different from what you expected, remember that most early opinions are based on videos, a few short conversations, and anonymous Greek Rank posts. The girls in each sorority understand their chapter’s culture and the kind of girls who will fit in. If they invited you to pref, they see you fitting in. That is a great compliment based on all the time and work they put into deciding who they want in their sisterhood.

There truly are no bad sororities at UGA. Every chapter has beautiful, smart, fun, involved and amazing women. You saw that this week meeting the girls. Once you join, get to know everyone and find your people, you will never give these rankings another thought.
