Sophomore year rush

I was out of town most of this past summer and wasn’t able to go to any fraternity rush events. I don’t want to go to a lower house when I know I could go somewhere next year, but a lot of my friends are in Greek life. Is it normal to rush as a sophomore?

Yea isn’t too unusual. Pc of 45 kids will have 4-8 sophomores depending on the house

Dude just go check out all the houses you can. There are still plenty of houses that you can go to. And if you don’t like it wait till next year. Know this the houses that you want to go that are full will not be taking a lot of sophomores next year and chances are you will have a wasted a year to end up at a house you could be at this year. Decent places you can go (Beta, Phi Kap, Theta chi, Sigma Pi) Niche (AEPI, TEP, AGR)

Ngl not rushing freshman isn’t the worst thing ever. Just gonna miss out on bid day and formal
