SORORITY RANKS (as of PC ‘25)

This may be the most inaccurate one of them all. Gphi is not that good idk where the hype came from. Old row is FULL of OOS, northern and atl girls. No way can you say they are classy, do we need to bring up the phi mu break in and adpi getting arrested? If you want true southern sororities I would say ZTA, AOII and AXO for sure. Dg and tridelt has never been considered “northern”. This is actually so bad. Every sorority has a good mix of southern and northern, we do not need to start categorizing them that way when it’s not true

Somebody took a list of sororities and pulled some random comments from all over greekrank and then closed their eyes and matched them up like a clueless middle schooler.
- Half the undergrad population of this school is from Atlanta. Greek life heavily mirrors that in every chapter.
- There is no such thing as old row at this school. It gives so much tryhard it's becoming a bad look. Chapters, tell your insecure first and second years to stop copying Bama.
- Nobody here says 'touse', it's cringey.

This list is BS. First ALL the sororities at UGA are good. They really are. Yes they vary in culture. Some are more preppy than others. You may have a group of four that are similar, but I would say you could break the sororities into four or five groups based on culture and style. Not whether they are "good" or not. Simply based on style and vibe. Don't believe anyone who says some segment of the sororities don't matter. I guarantee if you get into one perceived to be in the middle or bottom tier on this site you will not sit around for four years wishing you had gotten into a "top tier" sorority. In fact you will see you really don't fit in with them and be happy to be in the sorority you are in.

All the sororities do the same activities. They all have socials, date nights, formals, and semi-formals. They all have houses (even the two newest both on Milledge and both have been updated.

When you see people make a list like this keep in mind they have an agenda.

pleas stop saying old row exists at UGA. if ur gonna talk “old row” include sdt and alpha gam!

Seriously I know this is Greek Rank but how many times a day do we need a new list that really is not changing much. Do some people need to use this as a way of feeling superior?

Case in point saying those in the bottom tier don't matter. Do you feel like you are so much better than everyone else that you have to make comments like that? Do we even know if you are in a "top tier" sorority or are you not in one but are cos playing. Either way you need to get a life.

All the sororites at UGA are good. If you just want to be shallow and base it on looks well there are many girls in the "bottom" tier who if compared to "top" tier girls would be considered much prettier. Do you want to base it on wealth, if they are southern, or how they dress? The reality is there is a place for everyone in the sororites at UGA. That is a good thing. Every sorority has a culture and each girl going through rush needs to focus on finding her fit. If they do that they will be happy. Do you want to be around a bunch a girls who some say are top tier but you don't relate to them? No, you want to chose the house you feel comfortable at. Do yourself a favor and ignore the people who only find value in life by ranking UGA sororities. Is that who you really want to spend the next four years with?

LOL. This is actually not correct at all. I've seen a lot of posts lately that look like gphi posting.
