alpha gam and pi phi
by: sororitiesi feel like these two houses used to have the weirdest girls and be last choice but have moved up a lot in the past few years. is there any reason behind this or is it just a natural over time thing?

(According to my older sister...neither of us are Pi Phi's, btw) back several about ten years ago Pi Phi was considered on the same "level" (socially?) as AXO and GPhi, even though they had very different girls from those two houses. They had sort of a stoner/granola girl persona.
During my time at UGA, I have heard of drama in the chapter, and a split between the party girls and the more academic-focused girls. Again, no real inside info.
Their member class this fall had some good girls, and the girls I did see out seemed fun without being too crazy. The overall feel I get is that they don't give a sh*t what other folks think, which is cool.
Apparently AGD has had a long history of being considered a lower house during recruitment. My feeling is that they have some girls who seem to have a chip on their shoulder.
I think both Pi Phi and AGD have benefited from the newer houses (A Xi D, and DPhiE) coming on campus.\n\n\n\n\n

I agree with the point about dz, I think historically this house has been solid but is on a fast decline. Lot’s of alternative and weird girls, definitely have not gotten as good a pc as pi phi or agd in the fast few years

agd and pi phi both have much nicer houses than dz as well which definitely helps them during rus

pi phi does not do looks based recruitment, as someone who has friends in pi phi, which fear is reflected in their pc this year. pi phi does have some mean girls (social climbers, since some really have a chip on their shoulder and want to break into “mouse” territory) but also some very cute, well rounded girls.

I think pi phi is still similar socially to axo since I saw they did a combined date night (coming from someone in neither house). I do think they have some internal issues, especially with mean girls just based on the stories I’ve heard
