Old row fraternities and sororities

Yes, UGA doesn't have an "Old Row" where all the houses are next to each other. The frats we call Old Row are the three oldest ones (SAE - 1865, Chi Phi - 1867, KA - 1868). (Beta was a secret frat founded in 1846, but didn't join IFC until 1987). The sorority Old Row is just who the Old Row traditionally hung out with (Kappa, Phi Mu, ADPi, Theta, Chi O).

Kappa used to not hang with them and they are not old row. Honestly neither is Theta. They used to hang with KD and Trid. Why aren’t they old row? Just stupid. Regardless of who the 3 frats pretend they hang with. They don’t determine who is “old row”. There is no old row. We look so dumb to even say it.

It's embarrassing that chapters have to grab clout from something that's actually real at Alabama. They actually have an original fraternity row, Old, and a newer one built later, New, so that's how certain fraternities are designated. For THEM. The budweiser thing came much later and was just marketing exploitation and then insecurity kicked in at other schools and everyone starting fake calling chapters Old Row. It has never applied to sororities exept for fake clout.

There is no old row. The frats and srats which have the highest % of Atl area members started calling themselves that. Period. Funny is that those srats also have a very large % of oos members which is the opposite of what “old row” is supposed to be. They are more “new money” honestly. They should really be called the Atlanta or OOS srats.
