does being a legacy actually help you?
by: LegacyI know I some schools sororities won't even drop you if you're a legacy for them, but it seems like I hear of legacies at UGA getting dropped all the time. What's the deal with that?

There are tons of legacies that go through rush so if a sorority accepted every legacy that was going through that is all the new pledge class would be. Also some legacies are not going to be the right fit for a sorority just because their mother or other family member was at the time they rushed. Some legacies will be accepted and others will be cut. Being a legacy really only gets you through until house tours. Good luck!

Srats at UGA care more about getting people they already know from hs or who are their friends into the srat. You may get to round 2 as a legacy in a few but after that, no guarantees. Basically they dropped legacies so they can pick the girls they want or seem more like them without any stipulations. It’s a joke.
