Are trans girls accepted in UGA sororities?

I’m a legacy of Phi Mu, have really good connections that could easily get good rec letters, but the problem is that I’m trans. If Phi Mu doesn’t give me a bid then are there other sororities that would accept me?

Phi mu is old row so they only take rich white cis atlanta girls, being a legacy there doesn't mean much bc so many girls are Phi Mu legacies. New row is way more diverse and open minded.

DPhiE might take you. They are definitely the most liberal and progressive on this campus.

Pi Phi is the second most liberal. They made an Instagram post celebrating pride month. So I would say those would be your best chances.

The fact that trans girls are limited to two bottom sororities is transphobic in itself. Like if I fit the Phi Mu profile to a tee except for being trans, then how is that anything other than transphobia?

There’s no reason to lash out and call them bottom sororities. I mentioned them because those 2 are the only ones I’ve seen post anything about LGBT topics.

Why do you think you’re better than the several hundred girls who are in those houses??
