They didn’t even bother telling anyone in Greek life they were becoming a colony which I find very disrespectful. Not even reaching out to other organizations especially the sororities. I say we don’t put them on Greek council.

That was the smart move. These girl's a go-getters. They're trying to put something together before they get shot down by Greek Council. All about being in a position of strength.

I’d think any new org coming to Brock would be welcomed. More people to have socials with, do Phil work with, and overall just grow Greek life and be a positive representation. Greek life is about community, and being welcoming, essentially a second home for most and some of the negativity above is really against all of that.
Where are the rules saying Greek council needs to approve anyone? Did anyone reach out to tell this new org? Not like the Greek Council is advertised or even acts like a governing body tbh.
Give them a shot, what’s wrong with that? Nothing bad can come of it.

Greek council doesn’t have any say. We aren’t recognized by the school and Greek
Council has no authority whatsoever. Greek Council is honestly a joke and is absolutely useless.
The more Greek orgs we have on campus will mean the community will grow overall. If sororities think that a new sorority will steal girls from them, then you need to re-evaluate how you select members and who you recruit.

Completely agree. Its because sororities view other sororities as competition as they think they all recruit “the same” girls as each other. In reality if they are finding this they just need better recruitment

What are you talking about they've literally had years to expand, not our fault no one wants to colonize them. They can keep trying but you cant expect the entire community to hold itself back for them.
