I just graduated from Woods and was involved in Greek life here all four years. I only got an inside perspective from my own sorority, but I wanted to come on here and give as accurate of a description as I can of each house for anyone looking to go through recruitment! I have positive and negative things to say about all the houses, none of us are perfect. Just going to keep it honest and general. Alpha Chi is the closest Woods has to a stereotypical sorority. The girls are usually well put together and are known for outer appearances. They go above and beyond when it comes to campus involvement and academics. The girls go out often and have connections to most other houses. The pressure to achieve and look the best can sometimes be a burden on members. Sisterhood is weak due to cliques. They care A LOT about reputation. During recruitment their goal is to get high numbers rather than help new members find where they actually fit best. If you want to be pushed to achieve as much as possible during your time in college, this house will definitely hold you to it.

Alpha Chi is definitely a top house but they have so many rules and are so catty. They don't like anyone who isn't also an Alpha Chi. They think they are better than everyone else...and they do often get Top Grades...but they aren't very much fun. Studious and structured.

Absolutely LOVE these girls. They're so genuine, caring, and compassionate. Love everything they stand for and I wish more people saw this rather than hating on them. AXO's are without a doubt the best on campus, everyone else is just jealous. Keep your heads up girls!

Popular, very large, and very cookie-cutter. If you are a girl who prefers to "fit in" and conform, you should do well. If you are more of an individual, you may find this house constraining. Not known for having a strong sisterhood. Being a member seems more important than actually liking your fellow members.

Overall best sorority on campus. These girls are involved in everything on campus. Additionally, I've had multiple Alpha Chi's in my class groups and they are always there to help, great group members. There were also a few that would always go out of their way to say hello and have a conversation with me. I didn't go into greek life, mainly because i wanted to focus on school, but if i did i think i would have tried to be an Alpha Chi.
