Here's the honest truth post 2026 recruitment.
1. Aggie chapters are all pretty much great. They're filled with smart, ambitious, kind Aggie women from similar backgrounds
2. only one house cares (kappa) about zip codes (kappa). if zip code exclusivity is important to you, go kappa.
3. Current top houses: Zeta, DG, PiPhi, TriDelt. Anyone with eyes can see this.
4. Kappa is top for those who care about #2. No one else can get in so why should anyone else care about them? Their exclusivity makes them irrelevant to 90% of PNMs. Give up the dream.
5. AXO, ADPi, XO, DZ, & KD are GREAT chapters. All strong and relevant. There are differences but go where your heart wants and you're not going to regret it.
6. Theta's house situation hurt them. Hopefully the Thent is temporary. After they get that taken care of, they will be fine, at the same level as GPhi, doing their thing. Cool. Whatever.
7. Old houses are going to eventually hurt all the chapters that haven't upgraded. Just the truth. After XO upgrades... yeah. Y'all get new houses.
8. AOII is done. I love those ladies but at some point, they're holding the whole Panhellenic back and grown ups at TAMU need to jump in and call the game. Let us grow the strongest 12 chapters, let us get big and bloated like Arkansas did before bringing in another new house.

adpi used to be a lot like aoii. they got kicked off campus and came back and everyone avoided them like the plague, they were a joke. it took a while but they really turned it around, have great girls now and are solid. its not going to happen fast to rise from nothing.

I hope AOII nationals and alum can come together and get them the help they need to do well.

They have been on campus since 2017. Now if those 300 girls hadn’t dropped and actually tried to build something, that would help a lot. How have their nationals not gotten involved?!

honestly, their nationals needs to realize what’s going on.. they really need some Regina George type of help to whip it into shape. I think the last time they had a really successful rush was back in ‘21. Their pledge class was huge but I think a lot of girls dropped. I wonder if their fees are still the highest on the row too. You can tell the girls are willing to pay for sisterhood but at what cost..

ADPi unfortunately did get kicked off campus for 2 or 3 years decades ago. The story goes that supposedly some girl brought a keg to their house. Both nationals and A&M were not happy. They were supposed to be touse-like #1 touse- but kicked off and took FOREVER to get back where they are now. They've worked hard and deserve how they climbed.

One person's "boring" is another person's "classy" I think the point the post is making is basically there are 12 strong chapters here and PiPhi is one of the most consistently strong, like those other three. Although I would argue AXO should be there too

This post was positive to everyone and y'all still have to come on here and knock chapters. Honestly, the way you are obsessed with PiPhi makes me think you're threatened or something. get a grip and live your life in the cheap seats

for sure, what I see at least is girls drop if they get back like aopi, gphi, adpi, theta (sometimes 50/50), & pi phi (50/50 too). no hate to any of these chapters, love them all, but I think everyone is pretty established and each house has its own type of girls and vibes but I think this is the common consensus. If aopi wasn’t an option, I for sure think there would be less drops.

idk. it's hard to know whether it was AOPi inviting them back or the "top" houses dropping them. But one thing we all know for sure is that if they only had AOPi left that meant the other 12 didn't. And you have to wonder why that is

With all the girls refusing to be “bottom” house, no new house will thrive. A huge pledge class could radically change a house. Those “bottom” house girls have to have the best self esteem and sisterhood to stick with it. Much better than all the girls “too good” for them that dropped out of recruitment. The pnm’s that dropped don’t want a sisterhood. They want bragging rights. The rubbish on this site just encourages this mentality.

I think they do want sisterhood. They just want it with people they have things in common with. Many find it hard to relate to the girls in AOPi. It’s not snobbery. Just a desire to find sisterhood with women they can bond with.

YES - preach! If you dropped because you were "too good" for whoever you had left, you just wanted to prove how "good" you were to other people.
Tldr; you weren't good enough for the houses (you thought) you wanted

This argument is giving “let’s shame PNMs for having standards instead of asking why certain chapters struggle to attract and retain members.” A huge pledge class doesn’t magically fix a chapter. If anything, recruiting a ton of women who aren’t actually a good fit just creates a bigger version of the same problem. And saying that anyone who drops recruitment “doesn’t want sisterhood” is ridiculous. Women can want sisterhood AND want to be selective about the organization they spend four years representing. Those aren’t mutually exclusive. If a chapter wants to stop being considered a “bottom house,” the answer isn’t guilt tripping women into joining it. Build a chapter people genuinely want to be part of. Improve the culture, recruit intentionally, develop your members, and give people a reason to stay.
