Real separation in GL at A&M

Let’s be honest. There’s a big separation between people from the cities and people from the suburbs. What is “top” to some people, others might drop first round. This goes for sororities and fraternities.
“City” girls (memorial, westlake, highland park) typically go kappa, tri delt, chi o, and if something happened to them in high school or they had a not so great rush then pi phi.
Suburban girls (the woodlands, cypress, Plano, dripping springs) and smaller towns typically like axo, zta, dg, and if they didn’t have the best rush then dz.
Same thing with fraternities with more houston boys going ka and Dallas ones going Fiji and beta being a mix of both and more small town suburban boys liking sae, sig chi and previously Ksig.
Both types of people have their “tops” and it really just comes down to who you knew in high school so it’s dumb to compare. Just go with what you like and you’ll be fine. Everyone still goes to parties and has huge friend groups.

No? I went to a suburban high school in DFW and people from my high school are in XO, ADPi, DDD, GPhi and PiPhi. AXO and ZTA didn't let any of us in the door. Your theory is cute because some people want to perpetuate that all PNMs and all houses are the same forever and ever but the truth is, Aggie Greek life doesn't fit those molds

Oh no a couple of hundred $ a semester is deciding who has more money. Poor kappa is in the same sentence with AOPi.
