question? (Honest)
by: nervousdoes anyone in theta go out?? I preffed theta because my other option was gphi and I felt like theta had a stronger sisterhood/cared more about me in general. Obviously going out isn’t all that I care about, but I’m worried I won’t find anyone who wants to party at all. I preffed theta because I didn’t want my pref decision to be only about going out if that makes sense, but I’d like to go to parties/ng/mixers too along with more “granola” things if that makes sense. Idk. Thoughts?? Advice?? Words of wisdom?? Be brutally honest

Theta is a decently sized chapter so out of 200+ girls there will def be a few that go out, but being brutally honest there isn’t a majority. Theta’s not known for mixing with frats or having many social events or mixers, mostly they hang with corps guys or mens orgs like AMC and BYX. they’re definitely known more for churchy granola things but a strong sisterhood!

You will absolutely find friends to go out with!!!! I 100 percent promise. Sure the majority of your chapter may be kinda granola ish (so is mine and I drink) but I really enjoyed that my chapter is more “Christian” because I felt confident that my sorority’s reputation would never cause others to judge me and because I loved having friends with strong faiths and values that were always there for me with open arms. I went out with a good squad of girls in my chapter but also went out with girls from other chapters because everyone makes friends in multiple chapters. By the end of freshman year my “going out group” consisted of like 4 different sororities.
