is greek life that big here?

its large in numbers but our school is so huge that it ends up being a low percentage. most people dgaf and a lot of people that arent greek are the type of people that would be greek at another school that thinks gdis are irrelevant. it's cool if you are greek, cool if you're not. everyone's pretty chill

I think sororities are much better and a much bigger deal than fraternities. They encourage or at least participate in all of the cool non-Greek things at A&M. Fraternity guys pretty much just stick to their drinking clubs and then do things within their majors junior and senior year.

there’s still some fraternity guys that do things like fish camp and big event and other things, but overall you’re right
