bottom tier or top?
by: HmSo I’m rushing this spring. I’m have friends in a bottoms tier fraternity here that honestly kinda suck, but a majority of the guys have the same major as me and same career goals as me(same companies and industry) but I’ve also been talking to a top tier fraternity here who’s been inviting me to stuff. So there’s pros and con’s to both like the small On is better connections but big one is better social life. If I get a bid from both who would I better be off pledging?

Every frat here has something to offer. I wouldn’t pledge one just for friends but I would for connections after graduation. You should keep in mind that one frat here may be bottom tier but at other schools, it could be top house. Every frat has huge network nationwide either way so it really does not matter what tier it is except if you’re into the social scene like you’ve mentioned. If you want a great brotherhood and better bond, I say go with the bottom tier. If you want a fun social life and a good name while in college, I say go top tier. But tbh, if you’re not sure, just rush a middle tier house, they’re all great. Good luck

Middle Tier ftw, you get the best of both worlds decent social life and still really good brotherhood. When chapters get big, they tend to lose the close bond and brotherhood
