do you have to be wealthy to join greek?

I read it’s somewhere between $2k-$3k per year. Does that not include custom t-shirts/accessories?

Depending on where you end up it can be anywhere from 2k-5k. Most greek programs will do payment plans if need be. Don't worry too much unless you're having to pay by yourself.
