by: )(I’m sorry, but if you actually say that aoii and aephi aren’t real sororities because they don’t have a house, you need to re evaluate why you joined greek rank and probably your values as a person. I’m not even in one of these chapters but i know girls in both and I have nothing but respect for them. Rankings should be based on community involvement and sisterhood, not real estate.

Yeah, I had a girl come in on Pref night asking where we moving to because at the aoii TENT they'd said they'd take our house. We haven't moved. No intentions of it.
I know a lot of girls support aoii and I was excited to welcome them to campus, but they've severed ties with most sororities because of their drama over taking people's houses and spreading other rumors during recruitment.
There is always going to be tent talk among PNMS and you should take it as outdated gossip, but when a sorority is spreading it, as a PNM you should RUN! If a sorority has nothing better to do than bash others then they probably don't have a lot going on.

Look people care about houses. If this was a campus with no houses... then nobody would care. Here it matters for the competing fall recruitment chapters.
AOPi is in a spot. They need a house soonish. I hope they get one or they will always be the unhoused chapter and that was not their intent when they decided to colonize here.
I have not personally heard them bad mouth other houses (except on this site). I hope their leadership has clear plans of how they will get a house.

You haven't personally heard them bad-mouth other groups here, either, because this is an ANONYMOUS website and you NEVER KNOW who is making any of the disparaging remarks. Take your mind to college and grow up.

I honestly don’t think it effects the expirence at all unless you are dead set on living in a sorority house. Aephis have an off campus hang out spot that they get 24 hour access to and they are always there. That’s where the meet and do crafts and what not. Aoii has a loft but they meet at other sororities houses. I’ve been to both and they all seemed to enjoy both
