sorority involvement

by: ?

How much of an influence on your life would you say your sorority will be in your underclassmen lives?
Past the initial new member period, would you say you spend every day with your sorority sisters? Every day with sorority girls who are not your sisters? Or just random other from classes and clubs? How often does your pledge class go to fraternity events, and how much is your identity shaped by the house you're in?

I know there's no Homecoming here, but are there any other big Greek events and festivals where everyone participates?

Pretty much all KA, SAE and Fiji parties. Sometimes Beta and Sigma Chi. The rest are parties where you feel embarrassed for the guys there because they try to be something they're not.

Being in a sorority ruined my undergraduate experience.

About to come here in 2018. How much social life is run by being in a sorority? Does it not matter so much or is greek life on par with TCU or Baylor?

Greek life is better than TCU and Baylor. It is harder to be in a good sorority at A&M because we're in the SEC.

Greek life here is inifinitely better and more important than at Baylor.

TCU is a much smaller school with a much higher percentage of Greeks so it's probably more important there than here but the quality of the sororities is probably equal. Frats here used to be on par with TCU but all the good ones have been kicked off, gotten in trouble, or are lying low so all the ones that are still highly active here kind of suck
