why dont frats do joint parties?

I'm a freshman non-greek, and I was jw why a&m frats didnt/dont do any big fun joint frat parties this year? Like do they even do those here or no? I know at Tech (Low Hoop is an example) and UT and other schools they have them, with the best/"top" frats together for fun stuff and fun performers ... and btw what frats would be the best kind of joint parties or combos to go to if there were any this Fall ?

There were a few planned that I know about but then different frats back out. There were joint parties last year. There will hopefully be some next year. Honestly the frats just all hate each other so much that they think they're too good to join with each other.

KA+SAE or KA+Delt party would be fun, but in terms of a huge "Low Hoop"-type of event, SAE+FIJI+KA and maybe + Delt or Pike would be fun, because that many frats together could fund/plan something fun and get big name performers...
